Maybe, Asher had said far too much. Now the girl seemed worried, and... oh god. Was that a tear? He didn't know what to do. The nobody just stared, almost vacantly. Thank god his eyes were covered. Times like this only made him realize more that he wasn't normal. He hated it. At least, to the best extent that he could feign. What really was hate, anyway? It was all blank to him.
"Uh?" the male backed up a bit, as the girl suddenly seemed more demanding. From a weaker stance to one that sought information. Maybe, she was hiding more information than she even let on? Why did she care about the weapon? Perhaps, the mouse was hoping to find one? Or, even, destroy it?
It made the nobody debate if he should really provide any information of the objects, furthering her knowledge on them. It could prove a poor decision. Although he couldn't feel, he didn't want the weight on his shoulders if someone was injured out of his information. Even if it was this girl.
"I'll tell you later," he smiled, as he began to follow Ciela to the place that she had mentioned. "We can discuss that and other things over... shaken... milk," Asher drew off on the words, questionably. "...Why are we shaking milk?"

Oh God. Oh God. Breathe...
She hadn't even thought of a Heartless invasion up until then. Oh, God. What would happen if... what happened to a world that was attacked by the Heartless? She didn't know. And, she was sure she didn't want to know. Vague, distorted ideas started sprouting in her mind, and they weren't exactly nice... needless to say, such dark thoughts made her stumble.
Ciela almost wondered if she seemed suspicious, when she asked about the weapon-thing. She needed information desperately, but didn't want to seem so... obvious. Her eyes - well, her good eye, at least, was filled with genuine interest, but deep down she was scared to death of what she might learn. Knowledge could be dangerous, couldn't it? In this kind of thing, at least. Or, so she thought.
Who knew. Maybe she was wrong.
"Ok. Later," she answered, rather reluctantly, as she walked. She stopped dead when she heard the shaken milk part... Really? "Uh, it's... uhm... a milkshake is, like..." Wow. Something so simple that she couldn't even begin to explain. "It's like a drink... it's made with ice cream, and milk, and ice, and... sugar...?" Well, that was a stupid explanation, but it was the best she could come up with, as she walked into a nearby street and into the tiny café that stood on the corner.
"Or, we could buy coffee,"she mumbled, shivering lightly, regretting that she didn't have a sweater. Well, at least it was a little bit warmer inside.

Was it really that strange that Asher was completely clueless about these mysterious milkshakes? How was he supposed to know what they were? Then again, he didn't know what this ice cream stuff was, either. Maybe, it was better that he not inform her of that. He was just waiting to be teased about it. Or not necessarily believed, it seemed?
"No, no. I'm going to try one of these milkshake things!" the nobody cracked a smile. Not that he knew what coffee was, either. No. His world didn't have that. At least, not on the part that he was from. The other part? Maybe. He'd never know, at this point. It seemed that foods and drinks were the strongest thing that varied from world to world. Some things were bland, warm, colorful, or just plain weird looking.
"Are there different kinds of them? Or just one?" the male adjusted his damp jacket, entering the cafe after the girl. "Or, would you order one for me? I can pay you, I just don't have any idea what... I'm getting?" one could almost tell that his eyes were wide with excitement, just from his bouncy stance, and parted lips.
He also had to wonder where their conversation would lead, once the milk was shaken, and... coffee.. was provided? He didn't even know what was happening. Was it even smart to be socializing with an average girl on this world? Sure, Asher had babbled to strangers on other worlds before, but they never really discussed the different worlds. In fact, he often avoided it, unless telling silly stories, or admitting to being from a different world than what he was visiting. Hell, he rarely even spoke to strangers regarding the Heartless, unless they were openly wandering, and attacking, people.

If anything, Ciela could only deem the situation as unusual. And... okay, maybe a little bit hilarious. At the moment, she could only assume that Asher's world didn't have milkshakes... or something like that. She figured, it made some sense, didn't it? Yeah. It probably did. She said nothing about it, though - all she did was giggle a bit at his aparent confusion.
"There are different flavors,"she answered, still with a tiny smile on her face. A few people at the café were staring funny at both of them, but she didn't mind them, much. "My favorite's chocolate... I should probably warn you, though, if you get a chocolate one, you'll most likely get a sugar rush,"she said, reaching into her pocket to take out her wallet... which... wasn't there. She could've sworn she'd brought it with her--
Oh, wait.
Oh, dammit.
"Oh, okay, perfect. The Heartless stole my wallet--I loathe those things,"she muttered, biting into her lip. She hadn't expected that. Who would've thought those things could actually steal something?
Well, this sucked. Again.

"'Kay. I want a chocolate one of these whatever-they-are's," the nobody confirmed, with a nod, before slipping his hand into his jacket pocket. Fingers tapped across the surface of the item he sought, lightly pinching, and pulling it out.
"I hope you didn't have anything important in your wallet," Asher tried to sympathize. But, how could he? He had never lost a wallet. What emotion properly displayed it? Sadness? Panic? He didn't even know. Not knowing made it quite difficult to know how to counter it. The only thing that concerned him about his response was that it might not have sounded as genuine as he wanted it to.
Twisting his hand, he dropped the wallet onto his palm, and held it out for the girl. "I still don't know what it's called that I'm ordering. Or what you are. So, just take the money out of this, and give it back after you're done," he smiled, with a tilt of the head. He knew, at least, the currency he had was acceptable here. He had yet to find a world that didn't take it. More as a fact, he had already bought a few snacks off of this world, and a simple string necklace -- probably made by the shop owner's child -- with a "Poupu"-star-fruit charm thing hanging from it.
Honestly, thinking on it, he couldn't really remember why he wanted to buy it.
"Not to sound ignorant to the situation of your lost wallet, but can you imagine what a Heartless would want with it?" the male mused, as he crossed his arms. "I mean, what are they going to do with money?" The only image the nobody could find himself with was one of a Shadow chewing on the edges of the wallet, while another one stumbled over all the money cluelessly.

Ciela sighed softly, and took the wallet, before turning to order the milkshakes. "I promise I'll pay you back,"she mumbled, quietly, as she handed the wallet back. She leaned lightly on the counter and tugged lightly at a lock of her hair, sighing.
The day was turning out to be quite strange, wasn't it? She didn't remember bing so exhausted in such a long time. Or, having such a strange conversation.
"I wouldn't know. I highly doubt Heartless know what money is."she mumbled. Heartless had always seemed cartoony, and silly, and predictable, at least to her. And dangerous. Especially dangerous.
"Can you tell me about the weapon, now?"she asked, lowering her voice, as the man behind the counter placed two glasses before them.

A soft chuckle escaped the nobody's lips, with a dismissed wave of his hand. "Don't worry about it," he shrugged, "it's not like it's a big deal to me, anyway." In retrospect, it made a little sense as to why the heartless dropped money on occasion, when defeated, now. They must have gathered it from their targets.
Wow. That was a little depressing. Asher almost felt bad for knowing that people, including himself, would occasionally take that money and actually spend it. But, what better currency for a traveler, right? One that only took the work of bopping a creature with less threat than an angry house cat a couple of times.
"There's a difference between "can" and "will", little Mousey," the nobody chided. Glancing about the room, the nobody casually swept his arm around the girl's shoulder, and pulled her close to his side, almost as a dating couple would. Eyes were on them, and it was obvious. Now, he had to hope the girl wouldn't create a scene from his actions. After all, if it looked more like they were close, it might lay eyes off of the new boy, and the patch-eyed girl.
Resting his head against the side of her's, he grinned. "It's best to act casually on the subject, wouldn't you say?" the nobody uttered, softly. To the crowd, it would look like he was trying to actually be sweet, right? As long as nobody could hear them. "And, I feel that, although I have only rumors, I should be given reason to tell a stranger about it," the murmur continued, as he glanced up. A few eyes had looked away, and as such, he pulled his head away from the girl's, though his arm remained loosely on her shoulder. A soft tap of one of the fingers almost implied that he had a desire to pull it away, too. "What is it that makes you so curious about it?"

"It's too late, I'm already worried about it,"she protested, pulling a strand of hair away from her eye. Money was always easy to worry about. She figured, it was either because she and her mother had run low on money several times before. None of those times had been pleasant. When the thought passed through her head, she rose a hand to her hidden eye.
How expensive was that surgery, again? Not much, she hoped, though she knew it was stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Why had she accepted that wooden-sword fight, in the first place? Why had he suggested it.
Stupid Eade.
Suddenly, when Asher pulled her close, she was snapped from her trail of thought. Casually? Oh. "People are staring. Why is people staring?"she asked, barely in a whisper, blushing lightly. Up until then, she hadn't been fully aware of people's gazes locked on them. Staring was still considered rude, right?
"I need to know,"she insisted, and took a hold of her milkshake, taking a large gulp of it. Then, she lowered her voice even further. "My reasons are kinda... like... classified information, or something.she said, with a light shake to her voice.

"They're probably doing it for a lot of reasons," the nobody grinned, as he picked his milkshake up, examining the drink. "One: If someone heard a fragment of what we're saying, it pikes interest," he murmured, with his mouth near her ear again. Holding his drink by the rim of its container, the nobody let it rest in his free hand, at his side.
Oh, he was so curious how it would taste. It was killing him a little that he had to play games with dumb customers.
"Two: it's a small world. I've been here for less than a day. How many do you think realize they've never noticed me in passing?" Maybe, it was a conceited consideration. But, it seemed relatively true. It looked as though the entire land portion of this world could be traveled in a day. At most, maybe two. "Three: You used the term "weapon" in what seems to be a weaponless area. Scary~" he made sure the last word shivered in an almost dramatic way. Grin grew a little wider, and Asher let out a small, playful giggle. It almost sounded as though he was attempting to suppress it, and failing horribly. The cashier had lost interest in the couple at this point, and looked away, to do more important things. Good.
Leaning back, to pull the milkshake up to his face, the nobody casually examined the partial liquid. "Four: Maybe everyone thinks you're just too cute to look away," he teased, at full volume. Most remaining eyes looked away at this point. Some faces even showing signs of embarrassment, regardless of if it was their true intent to stare at a small girl in admiration.
"Anyway, I think it's a fair trade," the teen placed the drink in front of his lips, hesitating a little. "Classified for classified, right?" A small drink of the milkshake was taken, and the nobody simply kept still for a minute. A blank expression littered his face for a second, before finally, he parted his lips. "...I think I've just tasted the best drink-thing ever."

Taking small sips out of her drink, Ciela listened silently. Reason number one made sense, at least. Well, yeah. Naturally, people who would overhear would find such a subject interesting, but still. It would still be rude on their part, to just stare and try to listen.
Reason two made even more sense, considering how tiny Destiny Islands was. A newcomer could easily see everything the place had to offer in a whole day, and there really wasn't much point in staying after that - the place wasn't even that interesting, anyway. At least, that was how she saw it. A sigh escaped her lips at the thought.
Reason three was also reasonable. Still, people wasn't as stupid as to not know weapons existed - not in this world, but in others. That someone talked about them would strike them as odd, and scary, even, but it was still none of their business. They shouldn't be staring either way.
"W-Wha--?"
Was he kidding? Reason number four was just stupid! "A-Are you serious?! I'm not cute!"she answered, with a slightly high-pitched tone and a deep pink shade coming to her cheeks. She turned to look at the embarrassed people who seemed to be looking away. She looked away, too, and tugged lightly on a strand of her hair, thoughtfully. She couldn't understand how anyone could find her cute. She was... way too small, and naïve, and plain. Just... another islander.
Her thoughts were broken as he commented on the milkshake, and the remark only made her crack a tiny smile. "Good, glad you like it. I assume you didn't have anything like this on your world, right?"she inquired, in mild curiosity. Hey, it was possible.
"How does the... weapon... thing... work?"she asked into his ear - she had to stand on her toes to do so - in a quiet whisper. Curiosity was killing her inside.
