Life seemed to be nothing but a blur, really.
The past days had seemed long and tiring, despite she'd done nothing more than searching the worlds. Searching for people. But it was hard... especially when she couldn't clearly remember who she was looking for. Nothing. Her mind was a blank - nothing remained there, except for a few laughs and the taste of something salty, yet very sweet.
And, that wasn't enough for her.
Memories came back slowly, but surely, and now, Xion was sure that she fully remembered the two people who were important in her life... Axel and Roxas. She remembered laughing with them, and she remembered that she'd left them both... but she couldn't recall why. All she knew was that she'd just... left. No clue remained as to why, though, and it puzzled her.
Still, she'd continue to search the worlds for them, wherever they were. Even if it exhausted her, even if they might not be back yet... even though... that last thought scared her terribly. She wasn't going to give up so easily. No. She'd go on looking, searching the same worlds over, and over again until they appeared, because that was what best friends did, right?
Wasn't that the sort of thing they'd do for her?
"Go on! You just keep running! But I'll always be there to bring you back!"
It sounded familiar, but she still couldn't tell why exactly.
The dark portal opened to a nightly, ancient looking world. Traverse Town was the place's name, if she was remembered correctly. Xion pulled her hood up, thus almost completely hiding her face, and started to walk around the deserted street. The silence was quite eerie - not as eerie as it was back in Castle Oblivion, the place where she'd woken up at, but still quite eerie. It just added to the feeling of sheer loneliness that weighed over her.

A large swirling mass of purple, gray, and black appeared. Not long after a gloved hand stretched out from within, his fingers dug into the ground. The young man pulled himself out of the darkness portal. His black visor started to melt away and dissolve, trying to get a better look of the area.
Where was he anyway?
His bright golden eyes scanned the place, Vanitas wasn't sure where he was. It was some sort of town. However all of the shops around him had the lights off inside, they were all closed and no one else seemed to be around. Looking up he noticed all of the stars above him, all the other worlds. The problem was, he didn't know this world, at all. Nothing rang a bell. Even if most of his memories where jumbled up at the moment, nothing seemed familiar in the slightest.
The last thing Vanitas remembered was some sort of battle, light and dark clashing. Still the pieces where all mixed up and blurry. However he remembered Master Xehanort, something about a weapon.. The boys memories were slowly coming back to him.
Vanitas' eyes narrowed, he didn't like this. He was used to being the one who stayed in control of things. Now things have changed and he was the one who was lost and confused. It angered him, but he wasn't going to let it get to him. Vanitas wasn't staying here, in District Two, he needed to find out what was going on. With that, his visor re-materialized hiding his face from view as he turned around walking towards District One.
